Avord

This weekend Shaun had to give a speech in a small town in the centre of France. A Kiwi WW2 pilot was shot down over this town in July 1944 and his body rests here. They named a street after him and it was such an honour to be there.

Aug Holidays

London - Had a great time. Did a house swap and were right in town, couldn't have asked for anymore.

Friends winery near the Pyrenees - Had a good.. but short stay here, was good to see anothe part of France though

Aigues-Mortes - This is an amazing wee ville..Just east of Montpeiller - totally surrounded by these walls.. We will definitly be coming back here as it was great!!!

There was a man doing caractuire (not sure if that is how you spell it) pictures for 10€ so we got one done of maia... it was hard work to get her to look straight ahead though....

July Adventures

May as well start off on a funny note - Sitting in town last Friday having a drink and a bird dropped an egg on Shaun!!! we have never laughed so hard!!!!! Shite it was funny!!

Me & Kim

Our LOVELY neighbours, to say "Merci" to us for looking after their dog, took us out on their boat. They were living on it for 10days over the summer. I can tell you that NOTHING beats jumping off a boat into the Med!!! We had a great time. We went off the coast of Toulon to this cool Island...It was amazing.. and we were Maia-free so had an even better time..

Bordeaux

Shaun had to shoot over to Bordeaux for a few days.... (he didnt' take very interesting pics)

I went to this coolpottery village about an hr away from Aix, had great pottery, defintely a place to go back to and get some nice stuff to bring home.

We have some friends turning up next week, then more in July, then we are off to London for a week.. Can't wait to go into a pharmacy and BE UNDERSTOOD!!!!!

Sorry, We haven't really been doing anything that exciting lately... Our weekends seem to fill up, but we dont' go anywhere!!! We had Greg Rawson come and stay for a few days at the end of May and went up to Les Baux..

Monaco

I was "finally" allowed to have a child-free weekend at the start of May and jetted off to Monaco with 4 other Eurocopter widows!!! Had a great time....
